Cambridge Diagnostics (CAMDX) is a group of qualified healthcare providers that provide a recording of brain activity using Electroencephalography testing (EEG) to obtain information about possible central nervous system disorders. It involves placing electrodes over the scalp. There are no side effects of this procedure because it is used to measure and record, not to provide treatment. The test has to be requested by a physician’s order.

How It Works
Physicians refer a client for neurological tests by providing a signed order. CAMDX performs insurance verification before client scheduling. Testing is set up by a certified technologist in the client’s home. EGG tests are video recorded to capture activity. A board-certified neurologist provides a reading of the data. Interpreted tests results will be delivered to the ordering physician within five (5) business days.
Insurance
CAMDX accepts both in-network and out-of-network insurance benefits. This includes Medicare, Tricare, and Traditional and Commercial Medicaid. Financial assistance programs are available for patients that do not have insurance or may have difficulty meeting their obligations within their coverage. Medicare and Tricare are both accepted. Most Medicaid plans are accepted.
